Very convenient to the historic areas of Florence, everything within easy walking distance. Nice outdoor balcony to enjoy the cool night-time air. : The entrance to the hotel from the street was very unusual, something I would not want to do after nightfall. Having to press a buzzer to signal the clerk 3 floors up at the street level to let you in a gate that also serves as a vehicle driveway does not give a friendly type of hotel ambiance for tourists.
