: The hotel is located in a quiet area and the room was comfortable it had a balcony and had a fully serviced dining table which was great for room service. The nights were cool and I dont recall any mosquitos , while the days were beautiful and sunny with blustery breezes so the location is great for weather and about 3-4 deg.celsius lower than Irkutsk so the fact there is no airconditioning did not matter with the balcony door opened . : The water had a slight fishy odor and I suspect because the hotel is so close to the river that the well is fed from it . They need a better filtration system .The hotel only had one bus in operation while we were there so they have to call the driver and it can be an hour wait so prepare the ride ahead of time as no big buses run to Lisvyanka, only minibuses and they are always full coming from Irkutsk but if you wait by the road for about 45 minutes you will finally get a cab if your lucky |
