The Hotel El Marques is located in the district of San Isidro where many pre-columbian settlements were established. In the year 1560, Mr. Antonio de Rivera, brought the first olive trees that gave place to the birth of the Olivar Woods.

During the Republic Era, the first housing development extended around The Olivar Woods along the Conquistadores Av. and of the Arequipa Av.
