A40 from the direction of Dortmund or Duisburg, take exit 24 Huttrop, drive downhill on Steeler Straße, take the underground tunnel and turn left at crossroads. A52 from the direction of Düsseldorf, exit Essen Süd/Zentrum, drive straight on toward Stadtmitte/Hauptbahnhof, takr the underground tunnel and take first right at crossroads onto Varnhorst Straße, then next right at the traffic lights.
