Königshof Restaurant
Our award-winning restaurant defines elegant dining. From the moment you enter our restaurant, you sense our unrestrained dedication to elevated service and gastronomy.

Chef de cuisine Martin Fauster begins each day by sourcing the finest, freshest local ingredients, then crafting his menu to reflect the flavours that best capture the moment.

His commitment and inventiveness has earned the Königshof Restaurant a Michelin Star and 18 points in Gault Millau.

Our Sommelier is consistently seeking superlative vintages that reflect this same dedication to providing our guests with a wine pairing that is as elegant, original and palate pleasing as our menu.

Our restaurant is open every day for breakfast, and Tuesday through Saturday for Lunch and Dinner. It is also open on Monday in the months of October, November and December. Annual closing in 2009 is from 27. July to 7. September .

Breakfast: 6:30 am – 10:30 am
Lunch: 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm (Tues – Sat)
Dinner: 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm (Tues – Sat)

Königshof Bar
Our bar just off our lobby offers guests the opportunity to relax, enjoy our extensive range of fine whiskies, liqueurs or other drinks. On some weekend evenings, piano music accompanies the flavours.

Intimate and warm, here our guests can relax, meet with friends, or enjoy a before-dinner drink before ascending to our Restaurant.

Our comfortable, relaxing lobby also welcomes guests to enjoy a coffee, aperitif, whisky or other drink. Our bar is open throughout the week and throughout the evening.

S-Bahn
The S-Bahn station (Karlsplatz/Stachus), with a direct line to the airport, is steps away. And only 500 metres down a pedestrian walkway is the city’s central train station, Hauptbahnhof.

Streetcars
Streetcars pass by the Hotel Königshof, allowing you easy access to all parts of the city, while the vibrancy of Karlsplatz / Stachus beckons you to explore.

Walking
If you wish to discover the oldest parts of Munich, the pedestrian mall from Karlsplatz through to Marienplatz is at your doorstep. The great museums and shopping of Munich are also a leisurely walk away.

The room was also smaller than I was expecting but I think that is more a function of Europe in general than this hotel specifically.
