Head Southeast on the freeway and turn Right at Guanajuato exit. Head East to Guanajuato, go through toll station and make turn Right on to secondary highway going East. Turn Left at fork in the road towards J. Rosas. After 24 miles turn Left at intersection towards San Miguel. Go 22 miles and turn Left towards San Miguel on major highway. When approaching San Miguel turn Right on first major 4 way stop intersection. Proceed up winding road to the top of the hill. Turn Left at Penex station on to divided highway. Stay in the Right land and turn Left immediately through arches onto cobblestone street. Follow the signs to La Puertecita which is the first hotel on the left.
Follow signs for the highway heading to Queretaro. Exit right on to toll road heading to San Miguel Allende (42 miles). When approaching San Miguel pass two traffic circles and after the second circle stay in the right lane. Turn immediately through arches onto cobblestone street. Follow the signs to La Puertecita which is the first hotel on the left.
