Los Cantaros

The Hotel Los Cantaros is situted in the "Ribera del Marisco" zone, where the best entertainment
is to be found. The building occupies the spot where formerly stood a women's prison, until its
closure and demolition in the 1970's. In 1983, during the demolition of the old jail to make way
for what would be the new Hotel Los Cantaros, a series of 17th century urns were uncovered. The
majority of these are now housed in the Municipal Museum, with a few left on exhibition in the
hotel lounge as a testament to the find. The hotel has 39 double rooms, each of which possesses
full en suite bathroom with hairdryer, cable TV, direct outside telephone line, mini-bar, air
conditioning, central heating and room service. Guests are provided with cafe-bar with adjacent
lounge, laundry facilities, parking and a small reading room where one can enjoy some peace and
quiet. The hotel accepts all major credit cards.

The hotel is located in El Puerto de Santa Maria, 15 km from Cadiz.
