Melia Merida Boutique Hotel

Plaza De Espana 19
06800 Merida Spain

Melia Merida Boutique Hotel is located within two emblematic buildings in the historical center of the city of Mirida and approximately 125 miles from Seville Airport. The hotel is in the Spanish region of Extremadura, a city declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1993. The Palacio de los Pacheco was built in 1802 and has hosted such illustrious guests as Queen Isabel II and her husband Francisco de Asms in 1879, King Alfonso XII in 1875, and King Alfonso XIII in 1905. The second building, the Palacio de los Mendoza, is an ancient Medieval resting place built on the foundations of a Roman construction. It's a sober building combining a Renaissance facade with Gothic interiors and a patio with porticos built in the 14th century with tiles from Talavera.
Hotel amenities include the swimming pool, terrace, fitness center, and nine meeting rooms for up to 200 guests. El Cenador del Marquis specializes in international dishes and the latest innovations in haute cuisine. For something a little less elaborate, try the bar-cafeteria (La Fuente), El Patio Cafi in the medieval cloisters in the hotel entrance, or Plaza Espaqa Bar on the hotel terrace. The hotel also offers 24 hour room service.
All rooms feature full bathrooms, air-conditioning, satellite TV, direct-dial telephones, and minibars.
