Monte Rio Aguieira Hotel

Opened in 2006, the hotel offers modern and welcoming facilities. The hotel has 86 rooms, among which we highlight the 2 suites.

The hotel restaurant is one of the best in the region. Dine at our table and enjoy our fantastic regional cuisine with specialities like lamprey.

The traditional cuisine in the restaurant offers you the possibility to taste the best meals of central Portugal, including the famous lamprey.

The buffet breakfast includes bread, ham, cheese, butter, jams, honey, fruit, croissants, toast, biscuits, cereals, yoghurt, Serra da Estrela cheese, coffee, milk, orange juice and tea.

The 86 fully equipped rooms have private bathrooms, where hygiene and well being are our priorities.

Modern and attractive furniture and the elegance of the decoration mark the difference in our accommodation.

In the surroundings of the hotel one can visit Aguieira's lagoon, several kilometres long, as well as the cities of Santa Comba Dão, Caramulo, Penacova, Serra da Estrela, Coimbra, Luso, Buçaco and Mealhada.

By Car:
-From Lisbon or Porto take the A1 to Coimbra.
-Then take the IP3 in the direction of Viseu.
-The Hotel is situated in the direction of Barragem da Aguieira.

From Lisbon Airport:
Take a taxi to Gare do Oriente railway station, then take a train to Santa Comba DĂŁo. From there take a taxi to the hotel.

From Porto Airport:
Take a taxi to CampanhĂŁ railway station. From there take a train to Santa Comba DĂŁo, then a taxi to the hotel.
