DINNING
Conveniently located off the lobby, overlooking a quiet garden, the restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu features delectable regional, domestic and international cuisine, as well as the Presence Menu, specialties selected from the menus of other Quinta Real hotels throughout Mexico. It is a favorite of Guadalajara's elite who come here to dine on updated versions of traditional dishes such as sopa tarasca, a cream of bean soup, served with crispy tortilla strips, cheese, and avocado, and filete chemita, a tender and buttery fillet of beef, grilled to perfection, all prepared with the freshest and best quality ingredients. Seating is available at several tables on the terrace or in the air-conditioned main dining room decorated with comfortable floral-print chairs, and adorned with flower-filled Talavera vases and potted plants.

Located at the entrance to the hotel, guests and locals enjoy refreshing and sophisticated drinks as well as domestic and important wines served in an area that evokes the intimacy of a London bar, with a grand piano and live classical music and jazz. Wines are stored in the hotel's own cellar and include dozens of selections from Mexico, Latin America, and around the world. The bar stocks a wide menu of tequila options, including blancos, reposados, and anejos and the bartenders are happy to explain the differences between the tequilas and assist with selections.

Located in west-central Mexico, Guadalajara is Mexico second-largest city. At 1,552 meters (5,091 feet) above sea level, the capital of Jalisco state enjoys spring-like temperatures much of the year, along with abundant sunshine. High temperatures are normally in the 70s and 80s, but uncomfortably humid days are rare. In May, the warmest month, temperatures can rise into the low 90s, but it always cools off in the evening. The rainy season is June through September.
