First recollections about this perfect architectural ensemble are dated 1898, when architect Arthur Schlein developed the unique design of the house. Cozy and hospitable – the castle changed its owners, keeping their secrets behind its mighty walls. And who knows, maybe prominent elite persons from that days walked by these corridors carrying their grand ideas of changing the world.

One year after the independence was pronounced in Ukraine, the hotel opened the doors to the elegance and noble hospitality. Majestic city had proudly represented one of its brightest pearls to the visitors and tourists. Decades have passed, but by today classic traditions have aged like a good wine.

Standard dbl room (№1)
A cozy place for sleep and rest, a unique pentagonal room, arc-like windows. Bathroom: bath and shower.

Semi Suite (№2)
An interesting architectural form of this room virtualy devides itself in two parts: one is for rest; another one - for work or intent reading. Exquisite wooden furniture, hand-made lamp, folding sofa, warm tint of the room compose a subtle feeling of peace and comfort. Bathroom: bath and shower.

Semi Suite (№3)
By no doubt it is the most sunny room at the hotel. Two large windows open a panoramic view to the park and old Austrian street. Bathroom: bath and shower.

Semi Suite (№4)
A cozy nook for a getaway with your beloved or a private shelter all by yourself. Exclusive ivory-colored wooden furniture add the romance and mystery to the room. The room is especially good for observing the sunrise through the old trees. You can have a sip of the famous Lviv coffee nearby terrace, accompanied by early bird's singing. Bathroom: shower cabin.

De Luxe (№5)
Pure Space that is the name of the most grand of all rooms. Contemporaneity and functionality with the touch of distinguished classic; the real elegance of Italian wooden furniture combined with restored castle's furnishings; LCD TV; aquarium in the cabinet; a tiny balcony in the sleeping room; marble-and-brass bathroom. Everything made for really good rest.

* from Chop: go straight along Stryjska street to Monument of Glory - on the left of Military Institute turn to Gvardiyska street — down to Gvardiyska street (100 metres) go to Glinki street — see the signboard of the Lion's Castle Hotel.
* from Shegyni (Medyka): on Horodotska street go to detour road to Stryjska street. And than the same way as from Stryjska street.
* from Kyiv: go along Bogdan Khmelnitsky street to bus station №2 — rapid ascent to High Castle (Kryvonis street) - Hidval'na street — Franko street — Vitovsky street — crossroad of Vitovsky-Saharov-Gvardiyska — go up the Gvardiyska street — on the left turn to Glinki street — see the signboard of the Lion's Castle Hotel.
